Troy Wendt
Founder and Principal
Troy Wendt is the Principal of Bell Rock Consulting, a firm he founded in 2010 to deliver data-driven services that help innovative companies validate product-market fit, build profitable business models, and accelerate valuation growth. His consulting work has spanned a wide range of industries including software, hard tech, and healthcare.
He has deep experience across product development, market segmentation, competitive assessment, product positioning, pricing strategy, TAM analysis, revenue modeling, KPI/metric design, and growth optimization.
Prior to Bell Rock Consulting, Troy led product management and sales operations at Aruba Networks, helping scale the business from $6M to over $100M in revenue and through its IPO. Earlier in his career, he led Cisco Systems’ flagship product family through a period of hypergrowth, expanding revenues from $500M to $3B in three years.
He is passionate about using analytical rigor to help teams transform innovation into commercial impact and valuation.
Troy holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a BS in Electronic Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
He is an avid cyclist and is always happy to discuss startup growth while pedaling roads or trails.
